This is a development kit for integrating a barcode reader into applications in Java.
BarCode Reader SDK for Java lets you read barcode standards QR Code, Code 39, Code 128, UPCA, UPCE, EAN, codabar as well as QR codes that include PDF417, Datamatrix, Aztec, MaxiCode, MicroPDF and other from your applications. These can be read from barcode images and those available in scanned documents into your java applications. This code package includes a sample GUI application that can be used to read barcodes meant for the application you are developing. Once your application is ready, it can be distributed royalty-free. Source code samples and demo utility make it simple to integrate this component into your application. This component works with Java 6 and later and includes signed as well as non-signed jar libraries. Source code samples to illustrate how to recode barcodes from images is included.
The graphical interface that is produced through the use of this component is quite simple and intuitive. Your end users should not find it intimidating at all. They will be able to pick up very quickly. The interface includes buttons for various 1D and 2D barcode standards. Thus choosing one is as simple as clicking on one of the buttons. Integration with the explorer makes it simple to pick the file you want to work on. The preview area shows you image or document file that needs to be processed. If you have an application that needs to do barcode reading regularly, here is a component that could be very useful. This is a good product.
